PLANT & EARN

A special event in collaboration with the BSP Bank (Tonga) where we will focus on working & learning meets earning income with a hands on + real life practical experiences for our little ones. A $50 registration fee per child to participate in a workshop style setting with access to an outdoor area (which will include raised beds & gardens). In this first workshop we are hosting together, each child will learn how to sow seeds in pots and trays as well as transplant seedlings to gardens & raised garden bed areas. The work that they produce; based on the number of seeds they sow and number of seedlings they transplant will receive a reward - in the form of monetary value directly deposited in to their BSP Kids Savings Account. Each kid can earn up to $50 maximum at this workshop session and they will also receive their own set of materials they will need for the day, their own refreshment packs, be in to win a number of prizes & giveaways, as well as meeting other children. This workshop focuses on growth in our backyards interweaving in also how we can create value out of such work, earn money, and learn how to save. Bunny's Backyard and BSP Bank (Tonga) will be hosting quarterly workshops in the aim to create more backyard experiences and access to financial literacy education.
